Messier Objects

M48 is an open cluster which is best viewed through at least binoculars. M68 is a globular cluster and M83 is a face-on spiral galaxy although it will require a large telescope to see any structure.

Other Deep Sky Objects

A telescope will be needed to see the planetary nebula NGC 3242.
