Messier Objects

This constellation is home to three open clusters: M36, M37 and M38. These objects are best seen through binoculars or a small telescope.

Capella is a first magnitude star.

Menkalinan

Sadatoni is an eclipsing binary star.

Meteor Shower Radiants

The fast and bright Alpha Aurigids were first observed in the 20th century. Another recently discovered meteor shower has its radiant near delta Aurigae. These Delta Aurigids are fast but faint. Both showers are best observed from the northern hemisphere.
